Acceptance of a damaged (dilapidated) foreign currency banknote, or replacement with an undamaged foreign currency banknote of the same state.
|
Criteria, signs, degree of defects and damages of banknotes eligible for circulation:
a) abrasions and any dirt on the front (back) side are more than 25% to 50%, while allowing you to determine the image (shape) of the banknote, does not interfere with the determination of the authenticity of the banknote and does not cover more than 25% to 50% of one of the main features: props, graphic design element or main anti-counterfeiting element;
b) taped or not taped tears not exceeding one fourth of the width (length) of the banknote;
c) glued corners or pieces (not exceeding 1 cm2) that belong to this particular banknote;
d) small stains, inscriptions, stamp prints (with the exception of stamps certifying the repayment, forgery or status of the banknote sample, if there are more than two inscriptions or stamp prints), which do not interfere with the identification of the authenticity of the banknote and do not overlap more than 50% of one of the main features;
e) pinholes of no more than 1 mm in diameter in an amount of more than 2 to 6 pieces and should not interfere with the identification of the authenticity of the banknote, as well as superimpose more than 50% of one of the main features.

e) strains in the amount of up to 3 mm;
g) up to 2 pinholes not exceeding 1 mm in diameter;
g) Abrasions up to 25%, allowing to determine the image (shape) of the banknote and not overlapping more than 25% of the signs of determining the authenticity of the banknote (the main signs of the currency);
h) Up to 2 stamps, letters, numbers and other inscriptions with an area not exceeding 1 cm2 and not covering more than 25% of the signs of determining the authenticity of the banknote.

Acceptance of a damaged (dilapidated) foreign currency banknote for Encashment.

Criteria, signs, degree of defects and damages of banknotes ineligible for circulation:
a) criteria, signs, degree of defects and damages exceeding the norms referred to in paragraph 1;
b) the banknote is torn into pieces, including glued;
c) the original color has been altered or discolored;
d) scorched or burnt;
e) more than 50% of one of the main features of legal tender is covered in oil, paint or ink;
e) exposed to chemicals;
g) the image (drawing, portrait) has been significantly changed due to deliberate damage, the denomination has been changed, security threads have been removed, there are significant inscriptions;
g) there is a clear printing defect (absence or improper location of a watermark or security threads), non-printing or blurry images;
h) the geometric size of the banknote has been changed by 3 mm or more;
i) a significant degree of scuffing and contamination does not allow identifying the image (drawing, portrait, shape) of the banknote;
k) banknotes have come to a soft state, having significantly lost the degree of hardness, disintegrates, crumbles.

Acceptance of foreign currency banknotes for expert Examination

banknotes that are questionable in accordance with the main features (the name of the issuing bank, serial number and series, the denomination of the currency in numbers and in words, the main image of the obverse and reverse side (drawing, portrait), and anti-counterfeiting elements (watermark, magnetic marks, colored fibers embedded in paper, including fibers visible in ultraviolet rays, confetti (colored paper circles), protective threads, microtext, luminescent drawings and others) that meet the requirements established for banknotes by the issuing state.

1% of the transaction amount, if it is necessary to send the currency abroad + postal and operating expenses of the bank for sending the accepted foreign currency to a foreign bank.
